It is now complusory for all residential properties being placed on the market to have a Home Information Pack (HIP), prior to being marketed. Consequently, you will need to arrange for a HIP to be prepared before you put your property up for sale and we can help.
What are Home Information Packs?
Home Information Packs contain a variety of information that is required in a property transaction. By bringing together the documents, such as searches, sale statement and evidence of title, early in the transaction the process should be quicker.
The Home Information Pack also requires an Energy Performance certificate to be produced. This certificate shows the energy efficiency of the property and shows it's impact upon the environment. Each property is given a rating and advice on how to improve the environmental impact and energy efficiency by reducing carbon emissions and cutting fuel bills.
Other documents, such as a Home Condition Reports, can also be included in the Home Information Pack.
How much does it cost?
Bilton Hammond LLP can provide a Home Information Pack from £249 + VAT if you agree to instruct us to act in the sale of your house. Please contact us for a quote for your house sale.
We can also offer deferred payment arrangements, or even No Sale - No fee HIPS.
